We are two years old! Mostaco Marketing celebrated it’s second anniversary last July 4, 2016. We know it’s a belated post but we want to thank all our customers for believing and supporting our products for the past two years.
The team grows bigger
We had several ups and downs for our second year. We were able to hire three sales executives but unfortunately none of them made it through their second month. It was a combination of bad luck, poor expectations and unclear hiring practices. But as they say, good things come for those who wait. We were able to hire two awesome and spectacular sales executives that helped us during the early part of the year.
Yna and Aillen joined the Mostaco team last February. Proper expectations were set and a new goal setting initiative was established. It was a slow learning experience for both of them. Their sales target went up as each month passed by. And they were able to close deals with large businesses.
The Mostaco team is now nine strong and ready for additional growth for it’s third year!
New Mostaco customers
We closed deals with some very large businesses for our second year. We closed deals with one of the largest buffet restaurants in the Philippines. In addition, we closed deals with one of the biggest hamburger food chains in the country. One of the premiere hotels in Makati chose Mostaco Marketing as it’s supplier for it’s printed thermal papers.
We have several large deals in progress. These are not leads that need cold calling. These deals are proposals sitting on each purchaser’s desk waiting for approval. We are targeting to close more big businesses in the coming months.
Efficient way of doing business
We had a solid sales process during our first year. But what set us apart and what made us more efficient was the implementation of sales systems. We started using CRM and order management for a more efficient sales process. No more pen and paper and no more spreadsheets. All leads, follow ups, quotations and sales orders are organized in an online sales system.
We are looking the expand even more in our third year of business. We are a growing business with an impressive 81% retention rate. This means that 8 out of 10 customers place a second, third or succeeding orders from us. If you place an order the first time, there is a big chance that you will order from us again.
What sets us apart? We have very good customer satisfaction. We are easy to deal with. We don’t beat around the bush if you have concerns about your orders. Our thermal papers and POS journal papers are priced competitively. Yes, our office supplies are priced higher than Divisoria or Binondo but they can’t beat our customer satisfaction.
