Mostaco’s first anniversary was July 4. Mostaco is now one year old!
This is a quick note to thank all our customers personally for all their support and loyalty to Mostaco the past year. We appreciate very much all their contributions as a customer. We value our relationship to each and every one of you. Thank you!
How we all started
Mostaco started as a two man team and operated as such for almost one month. Our first customers were based in Visayas and Mindanao. They would order supplies, make a deposit to our bank accounts and then we would ship their items.
We targeted those customers during our first month to build revenue. All our Visayas and Mindanao customers would make a payment first so that we can pay our manufacturers. We couldn’t get Metro Manila and Luzon customers because we still don’t have any operating cash to give out payment terms.
We slowly increased cash and revenue and started targeting Metro Manila and Luzon customers. We were able to close deals with some of the biggest companies in Metro Manila. We were able to give payment terms to almost 80% of our customers. We now have almost 200 customers that regularly order their office supplies and paper product needs from us. We are the fastest growing office supplies and paper products company in Las Pinas.
We have grown our small team of 2 to a small team of 5. We are an efficient bunch. We use the latest software for our leads generation, marketing, sales pipeline and invoicing. When we celebrated our first anniversary, we have sold close to 310,000 thermal paper rolls, 1,600 boxes of continuous forms and 2,600 boxes of copy papers.

After our first anniversary
We are looking to a fruitful 2016. As we say goodbye to our first anniversary, we will continue to grow our sales in our second year. We have hired 2 sales executives and we are still hiring!
